Ogbomoso, a city rich in culture, history, and vibrant energy, is on the hunt for a new logo that captures its essence, and we need <strong>your<\/strong> talent to bring it to life!<\/p>\n<p>This is your chance to create a symbol that will represent the spirit of Ogbomoso for generations to come. Imagine your design on banners, clothing, and all official city materials \u2013 recognised not just in Ogbomoso, but around the world. Plus, the winner will receive a cash prize of \u20a61,000,000 and the priceless honour of having their logo chosen by a prestigious judging panel, chaired by none other than the King of Ogbomoso himself \u2013 his imperial majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye (Orumogege III).<\/p>\n<h4>Competition rules<\/h4>\n<p>We want to give you as much creative freedom as possible, so there are just two simple rules:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Originality is key<\/strong>: Your logo design must be entirely original. It should capture the heart and soul of Ogbomoso, reflecting its culture, history, and future, without borrowing from existing logos or copyrighted materials. AI-generated designs will not be considered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wearability<\/strong>: The logo must be versatile enough to be embroidered on clothing items like t-shirts and caps. Keep this in mind as you design to ensure your logo looks great in all formats.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5>Important information<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submission deadline<\/strong>: All entries must be submitted by <del><strong style=\"color: red;\">31\/08\/2025 11.59pm<\/strong>. <strong>NOW CLOSED<\/strong>!<\/del><\/li>\n<li><strong>Selection process<\/strong>: The winning logo will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges, chaired by the King of Ogbomoso.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prizes<\/strong>: The winning designer will receive <strong>\u20a61,000,000<\/strong>, and their logo will become the emblem of the city of Ogbomoso. The 2nd and 3rd runners-up will receive <strong>\u20a6300,000<\/strong> and <strong>\u20a6200,000,<\/strong> respectively.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>: Participants must be residents or have permanent residency in Ogbomoso.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No winner<\/strong>: If no logo wins the competition, we will rerun the competition for another 3 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By participating, you agree that the copyright of the winning logo will be transferred to the city and people of Ogbomoso.
